Movie Alternatives

October 16th, 2008 · No Comments

A Sony Satellite TV is an option me and bhe are contemplating to have in our room. You know when it’s time for relaxation, we can just sit back and enjoy a marathon of movies. But having this kind of luxury at the moment is too expensive, especially we still have our house finances to worry about.

The logical alternative we have is to download DivX full movies from trustworthy sites. When I say trustworthy sites, those are sites that don’t have malicious files packaged with the movie we want to download. We can’t afford to have a virus in our computer now, which we are still paying in installments, can we?

However, DivX full movie downloads do not come cheap. To top it off, the currency we pay is in United States dollars. Owing to the fact that we live in the Philippines, I pay for the downloads through my credit card. That said, downloading DivX full movies is practically expensive. As an adult I need to save every cent I can pinch.

The last option I have is to buy a flash disk with a memory big enough to store movie files from my co-workers who have stacked a lot of movie collections in their hard drives. The flash disk may cost a pretty cent but I know it will serve its worth in terms of use. That’s a good alternative, right?
