50 Cent’s Multi-Million House — On Fire

August 11th, 2008 · No Comments

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson’s multi-million dollar home was destroyed in a fire in Long Island last May. The house was occupied by his ex-girlfriend (Shaniqua Tompkins) and their 10-year old son. Mr. Jackson was not in the residence when the incident happened.

Reports said that authorities were suspicious as to what caused the fire as earlier, there was a confrontation between Tompkins and 50 Cent in the office of Tompkins’ attorney about a $50 million lawsuit the former was bringing to the rapper.

Paul Catsandonis (Tompkin’s attorney), said there was an “extremely dangerous incident” in his Manhattan office while taking a deposition for the lawsuit last Monday.

Tompkins and 50’s 10-year old son were taken to a hospital suffering from smoke inhalation, including 6 people inside the Dix Hills home.

Authorities called the Suffolk County arson team after Dix Hills Fire Chief Larry Feld deemed the blaze “suspicious.”

The Tompkins and Jackson case opened again last June 10 at the Supreme Court in Manhattan.
