Journey was formed in 1980’s by the lead singer Steve Perry. In three years they launched an album that touched the heart of the crowd with songs like Faithfully, Don’t Stop Believing and Open Arms, all originally composed and performed by Steve Perry.

As time passed, Lead singer Steve Perry was replaced by Steve Augeri. Recently the Journey is again searching for another Lead Vocalist with one of the members of the group, Neil Schon (Lead Guitarist in Journey), scouring YouTube in search of new talents. He was amazed when he saw Filipino singer, Arnel Pineda, singing ‘Faithfully’ in a video that a friend of Arnel’s uploaded in YouTube. Several days later, Neil Schon emailed the friend of Arnel inviting Arnel to audition for the new lead singer slot in Journey.

At present, Arnel Pineda has been announced as Journey’s new Lead Singer.
