The teen years are the best time to start working for a perfect body shape. With proper diet and exercise, it’s pretty easy to be always pretty. Then there comes marriage, pregnancy and child care. Staying fit would take a back seat until time permits, not only for mothers but for fathers as well. But time is never available, we all know that. And you realize how much flab has accumulated. And the many layers are more difficult to “undo”. Pressing the keys ctrl+z just won’t do the trick. You may opt for a rapid detox and shed one fat piece at a time. Or try the Atkins diet to control weight. To avoid having to cook some weightwatchers food recipe, and do other drastic measures in the future, it’s best to get some workouts and maintain weight right from the very start. Here’s how:
In your 20s: Because bones are still developing in this decade, exercises that build strong bones are ideal. A 30-minute weight bearing workouts like walking and aerobics can help put “stress” on your bones and strengthen them.
In your 30s: It’s best to reduce the risk of diseases that may crop up in later years like hypertension, high cholesterol and heart attacks. Take a 30-minute cardiovascular exercise such as jogging, swimming and cycling.
In your 40s: The decreased hormone production affects one’s weight as well as bone and heart health. The exercise goal would now be to build muscles that will condition the heart and control weight. A shorter but harder aerobic-type of workouts would help reap cardiovascular benefits.
