1. Ice Cream
Ice cream is full of fat, calories and sugar that we don’t need. It is also full of chemicals such as artificial flavor, emulsifier, stabilizer and preservatives. If you can’t stay away from ice cream there are plenty of alternatives out there that are healthier. Such as sugar free ice cream it may not be as tasty as the original but if you want to be lean and healthy this is the best alternative.
2. Fried Foods
Fried foods are not healthy since by frying food all essential fatty acids are destroyed and they are high in saturated fat. When you fry a food until its brown it is considered burned, when a protein is burned it becomes a carcinogen, which is not good for your health, not only that they help clog up your arteries. Everyone should stay away from fried food.
3. Donuts and Pastries
It is just like ice cream, a king of fat storing combinations: refined sugar and saturated fats. Having high sugar diet has a detrimental effect on blood sugar levels that prevent the body from utilizing fats as source of energy. Not only that refined sugar can increase the levels of bad cholesterol in your system. Constant high sugar diet can lead to diabetes. Start cutting down refined sugar in your diet. You will become healthier and stronger and have more energy.
4. White sugar, Candy, Chocolate and sweets
Many think that carbohydrates make you fat this is a misconception, the right statement would be “Simple carbohydrates make you fat” which means white sugar, candy and sweets. Not only that they are just empty calories meaning they contain no essential nutrients needed by the body.
5. Soda
Softdrinks are no different from donuts and pastries since they also contain high in refined white sugar, they are just composed of water, flavoring and refined sugar. Liquid sugar is more notorious in clogging up your fat burning machine. Since we tend not to cut back on our intake in foods, resulting in eating excess calories than we need.
6. Fruit “drinks” and other sugar sweetened beverages
They are no different from soft drinks. If you want to drink juices make sure to read the label if listed is sugar, sucrose, corn syrup or high fructose corn syrup stay away from it.
7. Bacon, Sausage
They have high fat content and mostly from saturated fat which is not good for our health. So stay away from processed meat and just stick to chicken breast, turkey breast, egg white, fish and shellfish.
8. White Bread
Is composed of simple carbohydrate due to the processing it has undergone. Simple carbohydrates are easily converted by the body into fat. So anything that is made by white or enriched flour will easily turn to fat. If you really want to burn fat so give up on white flour and choose those that are made from whole wheat or whole grain that is.
9. Potato Chips, Nachos, Corn Chips
Chips have high sodium content which is lethal for those who are predisposed to high blood and they also contain lots of calories, fats, flavor additives and refined oils which was used to fry them. This also includes nachos and corn chips.
10. Hot dogs, fast foods burgers
Hot dogs consists of some meat, mashed up with fillers, stabilizers, sodium, preservatives, artificial colors and artificial flavors which is a no-no for those who want to lose fat. Not only that nitrates one of the ingredient used to make hot dogs are linked to cancer. Hamburgers are made from the meat with high fat content.
11. Cookies, cakes, pies
They fall in the same categories as with donuts - full of sugar and fat. Since they are made from white flour and refined sugar. So it is better to eat cakes only during your birthday.
12. Sugary breakfast cereals
Most boxed cereals contain more than 50% of sugar. No matter how much vitamins and minerals you add to the cereal still all you just have is vitamin filled sugar. Nothing beats oatmeal if you want cereal in your breakfast.
