The Warrior Diet

February 18th, 2008 · No Comments

For those who want to lose weight, I think this is the diet program you can use where you can eat as much as you want without gaining unwanted fats; where you will gain more energy to do the things you want. The diet focuses on controlled fasting and eating organic foods meaning no artificial chemicals used in growing the food. It is known that pesticides and artificial fertilizer have detrimental effects on our health.

There are two phases in the diet: the under eating phase and the overeating phase. Usually the under eating phase is done during the whole day and the overeating phase done in the evening. During the under eating phase one is expected to just eat only fruits and vegetables during the the entire day and in the overeating phase you can eat as many food you like without the fear of gaining weight.

Included in the book is a workout program to help bolster your metabolism. Which is done during the undereating phase of the program. The book also discusses on the foods you should avoid and foods that you will get a lot of nutritional value. Author even provides recipes that you can use if you want to follow it.

I tried out the diet myself and found out that in just a few days of following the diet I lost some of the fat in my belly. And I felt more energized. I see the warrior diet as a way of life.
