Now back there, the area assimilating rod, the conquering Lords of different factions you chose either as humans, mythical,
chaos and divines in the world of Nevendaar. Here comes the much awaited development of Disciples III: Renaissance, the sequel to Disciples II: Dark Prophecy, now fully in 3D, from fighting sequence, adventure maps and castle building.
You play as one of the Lords in the world of Nevendaar to establish the reign of your God’s race and probably save the world from destruction. Still, Disciples III follows its predecessors when forming a unique assortment of units from human armies, hell spawn monsters, mythical creatures, and divine troops where you as leader can carry only a handful of this fantastic units depending on your leadership skill points. The battle system is now fully clad in 3D, not like the last installments where you fight in 6×4 grid.
Now you fight out in two halves of different terrains, half is yours and the other for your enemy. No longer will be the creatures be limited to only standing in it’s grid when battling foes, but can move about the playing field to strike down your enemy to dust accompanied with great attack actions either melee or magic.
The first release of Disciples III: Renaissance, will be sometime this 2nd quarter of this year 2008. Where in the world of Nevendaar in the first chapter installment, there are 3 playable races: The Empire, The Legions of the Damned, and the Noble Elves, with their unique Units styles and city. Other races will be added one per installment, we may get to see my favorite clan the “The Mountain Clan”, fully capable mining dwarfs that packs a punch. If you think that now Disciples III is in full 3D, system requirements will be in the major high, think again, you can definitely play this baby in an average computer set-up. So, gear up and put those mouse fingers in full clicking mode.
