The first person shooter genre has come a long way since Doom and Duke Nukem where you aim and blast away aliens, monsters, mechanical bosses and do a lot of other fun stuff like solving puzzles and levelling up.
Here comes CRYSIS, a modern tactical first person shooter developed by Electronic Arts and Crytek. Gamers have long awaited the release of this fantastic game, where lush jungles and clear waters are a more than just background. The gameplay is much more intense than your average shooting game. Here the AI of the game is overwhelming; they coordinate, they call for reinforcements either by land, air, and water and hide in bushes if they find they are at a disadvantage.
Crysis utilizes the new game DirectX 10 for Vista and DirectX 9 for lower OSs. The game’s engine really makes a big difference in gameplay if coupled with a fast video card and lots of free HD space.
Better get a hold of this game and enjoy the experience of shooting aliens right between the eyes.
