King’s Bounty: The Legend

June 3rd, 2008 · No Comments

Do you like playing fantasy-turn based games like my all time favorites “Heroes of Might and Magic” series and “Disciples Chapters” or do you like to play fantasy adventure games “The Elders Scroll and Never Winter Nights”? If you like both genre, then here comes “King’s Bounty: The Legend”! Quite simply, it has the best of both worlds.

King’s Bounty: The Legend - a fantasy-turn based adventure

game designed by Jon Van Caneghem of New World Computing. The game lets you pick one of four amazing hero classes: Barbarian, Knight, Paladin, and Sorceress. The games story line starts o

ff as the dying King Maximus appoints you as his champion to retrieve back the stolen Scepter of Order from Arech, the chaos overlord.

The cool thing about King’s Bounty is in its battle sequences. If you guess bloody gore of hack and slash, or hit and run, or aim and shoot, guess again. The battle sequence of King’s Bounty is much more like Heroes of Might and Magic, where you and your army take turns between the enemy troops to inflict damage and kill each other.

If your not a fan of HOMM, the battle sequence is like chess. You can only make a move – kill someone, cast spells, heal – only if it is your turn.

Expect to have a real fun time on King’s Bounty. So better make your schedule open fo

r this latest game that will hit the shelves 2nd quarter of this year.
