I would like to go back and remember one of the greatest players in UAAP. Joseph “The Ninja” Yeo was the all-in-one package for the De La Salle Green Archers. Steady dribbling, slashing and driving to the basket, and even accurate shots from beyond the 3 point line arc, Yeo was one of the most feared players in the UAAP.
With his breath taking moves which gives him a lot of elevation to create aerial acrobatics, players who are assigned to defend this player are expected to have nightmares. Even with a number of players guarding and trying to block him, “The Ninja” will fearlessly challenge and drive to the basket to score and even take a few fouls out of his opponents in the process.
His “hang time” and his upper body strength is one of a kind because of the amazing shots he can perform even in very tight situations. Controversy and criticisms has been evident in the amateur career of Joseph Yeo but despite all of those rumors and speculations, he has established himself in the Philippine Basketball Association.
At present, Joseph Yeo plays for the Santa Lucia Realtors’ team. His team is now currently 1 more game away from a championship match in the Philippine Basketball Association. Joseph Yeo is one of the most promising players in the basketball business that’s why the future looks bright for ‘The Ninja’ and for the teams that he will be representing in the future.
