The game of darts has many styles of play. In order to learning the basic rules of darts you must be able to
pick up even the most complicated games.
The “01” is the most easiest and basic dart game ever been created. The best ways to begin enjoying darts is to practice throwing and learning the rules of the so called “01” game.
The basic rules and goal is to be the first player to subtract your score from a predetermined initial digit down to zero. “01” refers to the number of digits/points that every player starts with in the beginning of the game. Here are some common beginning tournaments scores 301, 601, 701, 801 and the 1001. But the 501 is most used for big dart tournaments in the world. Higher beginning scores are usually played by teams.
Players must play alternate turns and throwing three dart pins each turn. Then after throwing 3 dart pins, the player must take back their darts and subtract the collected points from the score before the next darter turn begins. Pins that don’t bond with the board are worth zero points and no longer be retrieve or thrown again during that turn.
To finish the game of “01”… the player must reach exactly zero wherein darter must hit the “Double” section of the dart board.
For example: If your score is 40, you must hit the “Double” section of the 20 which was on the dartboard…
Left Double
38 - 19
36 - 18
34 - 17
32 - 16
20 - 10 …… So on…. Left: 2 - To hit Double: 1
Enjoy!
