One of the hottest issues today that each one of us should be very much concerned about is “Global warming.” Global warming is the term used to describe the gradual increase in the planet’s atmospheric temperature.

Deforestation and increased emissions of carbon dioxide and other green house gases are the biggest factors that cause global warming.

Professionals studying climate change declared that the effects of global warming can be seen one way or another. Although some phenomena such as El Niño are viewed by some as manifestations of the ill effects of global warming, some researchers believe that El Niños are not caused by global warming because they have been present for thousands of years. However, it has been hypothesized that warmer global sea surface temperatures can enhance the El Niño phenomenon. Severe typhoons, rising sea levels, and other severe whether events are some of the effect that we can see and feel nowadays.

What about our future? It’s not too late to save our planet. We must be aware of what’s happening to our surroundings. Start to take good care of our ecosystem, our environment and our one and only Earth. Plant a tree, conserve energy, and report abusers to the proper authority. Let’s act now and do something about it before it’s too late.
